Stan Lee, the man who created Marvel’s famous superheroes, has died at the age of 95.
The comic book icon was taken by ambulance on Monday morning to Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center, where he later died.
Kirk Schneck, who is the lawyer of Lee’s daughter, said the cause of Lee’s death is not yet known.
Lee’s career started in 1939 at Timely Comics where he worked as writer, editor, and illustrator.
After DC Comics reimagined its heroes in the ‘50s, Lee was tapped to create heroes to compete against DC’s Justice League in the ‘60s.
It eventually paved the way to a revolution in the comic book industry.
