Miguel Andujar, additionally on a rehab stint in Triple-A, began for a second consecutive game in left field Wednesday and also homered.
Manager Aaron Boone said the Yankees had contemplated recalling Andujar to get Odor. The Yankees chose Andujar, who had been sidelined by directly wrist carpal tunnel syndrome in March, will be better off obtaining regular at-bats in Triple-A than playing a seat role with the Yankees.

Clint Frazier entered Wednesday 1-for-13 with a set of walks and three strikeouts, but Boone stated before the game he had been”near” to breaking .
“He’s got to focus on at-bat quality. The walks have been there a bit. He’s got to few that patience with quality of contact.”
Frazier was not at the lineup, however pinch-hit for Ford at the eighth and brought a walk.
Aaron Judge has been excellent in the plate once he’s been around the area, but even he heard a few boos from the audience after striking out five occasions Wednesday. He left six batters on base.
It had been Judge’s first five-strikeout game because 2018, however, Boone still believes the perfect fielder is”at a great place”
“He took lots of good deeds, [however ] fouled pitches off,” Boone said. “He’s been fairly stable for us . You’re gonna possess a game like that now and then. Can you feel better if he rolled over a couple of balls? I’m not talking about Judge.”
