Jessie J apologizes to rapper Nicki Minaj on Instagram after what she said in a Glamour Interview and thanked her for clearing up the origins of their 2014 hit song with Ariana Grande, titled “Bang Bang”.

Reactions to Jessie J and Nicki Minaj's argument

Jessie including both parties’ fans tried to make light of the situation by tweeting memes. Jessie posted some on her Instagram. A username @greedymotivez tweeted with a video of the trio’s performance during AMA 2014, “remember when nicki minaj used jessie j as a railing”.

Followed by another user named @arkemjk said, “either way the song with the trio was iconic but y’all need to understand that nicki gets PAID to hop on these songs. she doesn’t reach out, THEY DO. we love you, Nicki.”

“Bang Bang” was released 7 years ago, and it has garnered more than 100 million views on YouTube so far in 2021.
