Rapper DaBaby is now back to business despite his recent issue.
The rapper got back to the stage throughout the end of the week and showed up at Hot97’s Summer Jam 2021 at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. The occasion was one of a couple that didn’t drop the rapper from their setups.

In July 25, DaBaby made a homophobic remark at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. He said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up.”

The homophobic remark received a gigantic measure of reaction from all communities including popular stars like Madonna and Elton John. Miley Cyrus even offered to educate DaBaby.

He then apologized and addressed what happened on Twitter and his Instagram, account which was now deleted.

The Summer Jam marks his first performance since the incident. He then addresses the issue in the event while promoting his new hit with Megan Thee Stallion, “Cry Baby.”

As per a video from the occasion posted online by The Shade Room, he began his exhibition with a video montage that highlighted a voice-over, DaBaby expressed gratitude toward Hot97, “Allowed me to share my gift, share my blessing with y’all out here live on this stage amongst all the chaos and all the backlash.”

“So hats off to y’all for that,” he continued.”… They accepted my sincerity and all my apologies when I said I never, ever meant to offend anybody or say anything to make anybody feel any type of way live on that stage a few weeks ago.”

“And Hot 97 was also willing to stick they neck out on the line, willing to go against all odds with everything going on out here in the world — they still allowed me to come right here on this stage and utilize their platform,” added DaBaby. “They helped the world move forward and become a better place and not dismiss people based off mistakes made like we ain’t human.”

“Check this out,” he reportedly said. “Other than the people that, you know, was truly offended, I feel like the rest of y’all motherf–kers being cry babies.”
