Eric Stonestreet officially and proudly declared on his Instagram account that he and her partner for more than five years of dating, Lindsay Schweitzer are now engaged after the “Modern Family” star popped the question.
“She said, ‘She’d have her people call my people,'” Eric humorously inscribed the post.
According to PEOPLE, Eric, the two-time Emmy-winning actor and Lindsay, a pediatric nurse, begun dating after meeting at a Kansas City charity event Big Slick in June 2016.
In September 2017, he excitedly revealed in Ellen DeGeneres Show about the relationship and Ellen responded by saying, “Your girlfriend is lovely,” and that she met her backstage.
“She’s a nurse. That’s a good thing for you because you’re a hypochondriac.”
“I’m a big baby, too. She calms me — she calms my nerves. I’m a very high-strung person,” confessed Stonestreet. “You can tell, right? What are you looking at, ma’am?!” he jokingly shouted at a lady in the crowd prior to adding: “My nurse girlfriend will take care of you.”
The couple immediately got messages of affection from their well-known companions following the declaration, including Zachary Levi who wrote, “Congrats duuuuuuuuuuude!!! 🥰🙌.”
Gwyneth Paltrow stated, “YAY!!! We are so happy for you❤️” and other famous celebrities as well like Hillary Scott, Michael Bublé, Vernon Davis, Will Sasso, and Bethenny Frankel.
