“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said during that time.

Presently, he’s attempting to make it up for those individuals whom he verbally hurt and affronts by meeting with Black pioneers from nine HIV associations through a virtual, private gathering.

“We believed that if he connected with Black leaders living with HIV that a space for community building and healing could be created. We are encouraged he swiftly answered our call and joined us in a meaningful dialogue and a thoughtful, educational meeting,” the statement read.

“During our meeting, DaBaby was genuinely engaged, apologized for the inaccurate and hurtful comments he made about people living with HIV, and received our personal stories and the truth about HIV and its impact on Black and LGBTQ communities with deep respect,” the associations expressed in a joint articulation.

Reactions to DaBaby Educating Himself By Engaging With Black LGBTQ Leaders

dababy is gonna teach a masterclass on how to be an lgbtq ally

I do. I hope he brings awareness to others #LGBTQ #DaBaby

They tried to shut down @DaBabyDaBaby for some comments when the worlds been calling us nigga for how long enslaved us rape our women and men #LGBTQ+ fuck out of here this is rap/street music ant nothing sweet with your sensitive ass just my thoughts 💭 #DaBaby #FreedomOfSpeech

Interesting how the #DaBaby (not unlike Nick Cannon being forced to meet Rabbis) is meeting with LGBTQ and HIV orgs about his stupid comments, but he's not meeting any Black leaders about promoting drug use/selling, misogyny, murder and violence in the Black community. Why not?🤔

Lmao I dont like him but they just doing too much

Just listen to Jail Part 2 - this individual is not sorry for his actions and double down on them IN THE SONG 😒

I mean it’s easy he just don’t need to say the shit he said he don’t have to go to organizations y’all acting like he killed someone lmao 😂

DaBaby has my respect again. One of the best in the game rn idc. He once out rapped Ye on a song

I respect this highly it’s not healthy just to attack and cancel people for shit like this. people should instead try to educating and open conversation so the person knows what they did and can learn and grow

He’s not doing enough give him AIDS

I just don’t believe him at all that he cares. He was so blatantly homophobic and backed up his words after the backlash. He knew what he was doing.
