America’s 45th President, Donald Trump, endorsed Steve Carra against ‘RINO’ Congressman Fred Upton, one of the Republicans who voted to impeach him.
On Tuesday, Trump’s spokeswoman Liz Harrington issued a statement of the former President extending his “complete and total endorsement” to Michigan State Representative Steve Carra in opposition to Fred Upton, who voted with House Democrats to remove him from office.
“It is my great honor to endorse Michigan State Representative Steve Carra to oppose RINO Congressman Fred Upton,” said Trump, referring to Upton as ‘RINO’ — a term used to describe members of the Republican party who act like Democrats.
According to the former President, the “Republican In Name Only” Congressman deserves to lose his position. “Upton has not done the job that our Country needs, for years has talked about leaving office and not running again, and he voted for Impeachment of the President of the United States on rigged up charges. He doesn’t deserve to keep his seat.”
Donald Trump, however, highlighted Carra’s expertise and advocacy, saying that this was precisely what Michigan citizens “want and need.”
He said: “Steve Carra, on the other hand, is strong on Crime, Borders, and loves our Military and our Vets. Steve will continue to fight for Low Taxes…Steve Carra has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
As Steve Carra seems likely to win, his proud endorser, Donald Trump, appears to further his political career as well for the upcoming elections in 2024.
A survey carried out by Emerson College revealed Trump to win over Biden for a potential rematch. Thus, it’s reasonable to assume that the former President has an edge in the 2024 Presidential election.
