Wendy Williams Will Take A Step Back From Talk Show

Wendy Williams had to drop promotion for her show since she is presently “dealing with some ongoing health issues and is undergoing further evaluations.” The announcement was posted on @WendyShow Instagram account.

“She will not be able to complete her promotional activities next week, but can’t wait to be back in her purple chair Monday, September 20th for the 13th season premiere.”

This isn’t new since Wendy has fought numerous medical problems in the past that have made her take reprieves from her television show.
In 2020, intricacies from Graves’ sickness constrained the dubious host to take time off from her show to focus on her wellbeing. In an assertion on Twitter, Wendy uncovered that she was enduring with exhaustion, which is one of the manifestations of the immune system issue.
That very year, the TV personality required a three-week break from her show to manage more side effects of Graves’ sickness. She went on vacation and postponed her show return multiple times in 2018 and 2019 for a similar explanation.

Her family said in a public statement conveyed by the show in January 2019 that Wendy has “fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment.”

“Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being,” they added.

Just two weeks subsequent to returning from her 2019 hiatus, Wendy uncovered that she had been living in a sober home as a result of a continuous fight with chronic drug use.

The show returned to the office this week and creation has been planning for their season debut, according to Page Six’s report.
