Britney Spears And Sam Asghari Are Now Engaged

The pop superstar is now ready to walk the aisle soon and say, “I do!”

Britney Spears and her soon-to-be spouse Sam Asghari announced their engagement via Instagram on Sunday after over four years of dating.

“I can’t fucking believe it,” the vocalist said, declaring the news on Monday, September 13.

In an Instagram video, Britney flaunted her engagement ring. “Look at that. You like it?” Asghari can be heard saying in the clip, to which the singer replied with a loud “Yes!”

The fitness enthusiast likewise uploaded a photograph of them kissing while Britney is holding out her engagement ring finger to the camera. He captioned the post with only king and queen emojis.

Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent, Asghari’s talent manager, affirmed the couple’s engagement and revealed to PEOPLE Magazine, “The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication, and love expressed to them.”

In August, Britney commended her now-life partner on Instagram for aiding her through the “hardest years” of her life. Asghari has stayed close by as she keeps on battling to end her conservatorship fight against the artist’s dad Jamie Spears.

In a February 2021 interview, Asghari told PEOPLE that he was “looking forward” to a “normal, amazing future” with her sweetheart and wants “nothing but the best for my better half and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves.”

“I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together,” he continued.

The couple initially met in 2016 on the set of Britney’s single “Slumber Party,” music video when Asghari co-starred with her. Britney made their relationship official in January 2017 by means of Instagram and they have been together for almost five years.
