JoJo Siwa who were best known for wearing her signature bow in her hair took to Twitter on Tuesday her dissatisfaction to Nickelodeon over her up-coming tour which is set to start on Jan. 13, 2022, in the wake of deferring it twice because of the COVID-19.
“I go out on tour in January,” the singer wrote. “My movie musical was just released (with 6 new original songs)… Nickelodeon told me today that I’m not allowed to perform/add any of the songs from the film into my show. These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this seem fair???”

She later added, “There is no reason that this music should not be included. Working for a company as a real human being treated as only a brand is fun until it’s not.” JoJo’s D.R.E.A.M. The Tour upholds her 2018 and 2019 EPs, D.R.E.A.M. The Music and Celebrate.

The Dancing With the Stars season 30 contender’s most recent melodic film, The J Team, was created by Nickelodeon Movies, and as of late got premiered on Paramount+.
In her most recent tweet, she also expressed how important the music from her movie is and called out Nickelodeon again to remember she’s human and not just a brand.
I want my concert to be the BEST it can possibly be, and I want to perform the songs that YOU have been waiting to hear for 2 years. Having the music from my movie in my show is important to me, I wish it was important to Nickelodeon. Remember I’m a human, not just a brand.— JoJo Siwa!🌈❤️🎀 (@itsjojosiwa) September 15, 2021
Back in June, she revealed to Entertainment Weekly how she was attempting to get a scene “pulled” from her forthcoming film “Bounce” that includes her kissing a male person. “I’m madly in love, and I do not want to kiss another human, especially because it’s a man,” she said at that point.

I’m officially done with Nickelodeon in this disgraceful era. They’ve made crappy television shows on purpose, screwed over cartoon creators, but now they’ve officially upset JoJo Siwa. And you know Nickelodeon has come too far when JoJo Siwa is upset. Seriously. https://t.co/3wPvNbjwOX— Sean Malin (@smalinofficial) September 15, 2021
i don’t care at all about jojo siwa but you’d think nickelodeon would WANT her to perform those songs and promote the movie. https://t.co/5bk996pKSE— michael is ia-ish (@dyeditkeylime) September 15, 2021
