The Pop star brief hiatus happened two days after her fiancé Sam Asghari popped the question.

Britney Spears reactivates her Instagram account and immediately gave fans a life update on Monday by sharing two selfies that were taken during her most recent get-away with her prospective spouse Sam Asghari.

She likewise added, “I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already 💍😂🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 !!!! Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions 💁🏼‍♀️😉🌹!!!!!” The couple set off for Palm Springs, Calif., for a heartfelt escape after announcing their engagement on September 12.

However, fans seemed to notice that the picture wasn’t new at all and inquired as to why her hair was totally blonde when it has a bit of red in it.

The singer decided to deactivate her Instagram page on September 14 to fully celebrate the astonishing news that she is now engaged to her sweetheart for over five years, Sam Asghari and later guaranteed fans on Twitter that there’s nothing to stress over.

“Don’t worry folks…just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!!! I’ll be back soon,” she wrote.
