Jamie Spears Suspended As Britney Spears’ Conservator

Following 13 years, this is an enormous triumph for Britney.

It seems as though the conservatorship is reaching a conclusion because Jamie Spears has been formally eliminated as conservator of her bequest.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny ruled Jamie Spears was suspended from his role effective today during a hearing held at Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

One week after Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart requested that the court suspend Jamie, the entrepreneur John Zabel will be the impermanent conservator of the domain through the year’s end as Judge Brenda Penny designated him.

As per an assertion gained by PEOPLE, Penny said that Zabel will probably hold the post as brief conservator until Dec. 31, “[This decision is] in the best interest of the conservatee, which is my goal.”

Rosengart, who was available in court, blamed Jamie Spears for being “cruel” and “abusive” toward Britney, and noted that his client “wants,” “needs” and “deserves an orderly transition.”

Britney wasn’t present for the hearing; however, she unpretentiously responds to the news in an Instagram post around the same time. she shared a video from a plane cockpit and expressed, “On cloud 9 right now !!!! First time flying a plane and first time in a prop plane !!! Geez I was scared !!!”

She also wrote, “Pssss bringing the ship home, JL,” which appeared to allude to sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ initials.

This seemed to have a connection to Jamie Lynn post one day prior, as she celebrates her daughter’s softball championship by saying that they “took home the [ship emoji].”

Mathew Rosengart said he intends to file papers in the next 30-45 days to ask the judge to authoritatively end the whole conservatorship.
