Snoop Dogg Claims To Have Apologized To Eminem, Thereby Ending Their Feud

Both rappers have settled their dispute ahead of their highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The “CEO” rapper revealed on The Breakfast Club that his beef with Slim Shady had ended owing to Snoop’s apologies.

The feud began when Snoop declined to list the “Lose Yourself” artist among his top 10 rappers in mid-2020, instead opting for a variety of other ’80s performers.

Then, in Eminem’s song “Zeus,” the artist rapped in response to the remarks. “I’m used to people knockin’ me, but, just not in my camp; I’m diplomatic ’cause I’m tryna be; last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me.”

“Man I love Eminem. And the thing is, we love hip hop so much, we competitive. We battle rappers, so that was supposed to trigger that in him,” Snoop said in reaction to his declaration last year.

They learn to appreciate one other for what they do as “brothers and family,” according to the artist. “We get down and we had a long conversation about the respect that we have for each other, and the way we need to talk in public about each other.”

Snoop, who will perform at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, apologized to Eminem for making such a statement.

“I felt like I was out of pocket. I apologized to him, and I let him know and I’m just bettering myself. I make mistakes,” he continued. “I ain’t perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg.”

This is what I thought from the beginning. Em felt disrespected. It wasn't about not being in the top 10 list, it was the manner of which Snoop spoke. I'm glad they talked and worked it out. That's how adults handle hard situations.
