Chris Pratt Slammed For Admiring Wife About Giving Him “Healthy Daughter” After Son’s Health Condition

Given that his son with ex-Anna Faris, Jack, has had major health challenges over the years, Chris Pratt faced a lot of heat for congratulating his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, for bringing him a “healthy daughter.”

“The Tomorrow War” actor bragged about his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on Instagram on Tuesday by posting a snapshot of himself and his wife putting their arms around each other as a tribute, which also contains the controversial remark.

“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!?” he referred to Schwarzenegger giving him a warm look as he grinned for the camera.

“We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”

Chris married Katherine in 2019, just a year after they began dating, and their daughter, Lyla Maria, was born the previous year.

“She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure — right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot,” he continued.

“It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks,” the post concludes, “So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey.”

Pratt’s now-9-year-old son, Jack, was born prematurely and had to endure multiple procedures as a result. At birth, he weighed only 3 pounds and 12 ounces.

According to E! Online, Faris, revealed on her podcast “Unqualified” in 2018 that her “world completely shift,” and how it was a great shock that their son was delivered two months early. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2018 when Jack was six years old.
