“General Hospital” Star Ingo Rademacher Fired For Refusing Vaccine

On the ABC soap program General Hospital, Ingo Rademacher, who plays Jasper "Jax" Jacks, has been sacked for refusing vaccine and received massive backlash after a series of contentious social media statements.

The long-running series’ producers recently let go of actor Ingo Rademacher and according to a source acquired by US Magazine, “his separation from General Hospital was prior to today and was because he declined to comply with the production’s vaccine mandate.”

The entertainer already has expressed his aversion to vaccination requirements. He posted an Instagram photo of himself on Sunday, November 7, with the statement, “I will stand with you to fight for medical freedom,” adding the hashtag “#nomandates.”

He also made news after sharing a transphobic remark on Instagram which includes Dr. Rachel Levine, the first transgender person to reach a four-star rank in the US military forces, and freshly elected Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears in the meme.

“Hello, and welcome to ClownTown,” the description on the tweet said. “Where the dude on the left is an empowering woman, and the woman on the right is a white supremacist.”

Rademacher’s co-stars on General Hospital were quick to condemn him for the role. Cassandra James, who is transgender, tweeted on Sunday, “I am aware of a transphobic post shared by a fellow General Hospital actor.”

“Shame on you. You have some serious unlearning and education to do. I feel deeply disappointed that such a public display of ignorance could come from our GH family,” she added.

As per TVLine, his final episode of General Hospital will broadcast on ABC on Monday, November 22.
