Travis Scott claims he had no idea a disaster was brewing when he took the stage at Astroworld on Friday but had the time to head out and went to Dave & Buster’s for an after-party that was reportedly hosted by Drake.

According to sources close to Travis and acquired by TMZ, the rapper was never informed during the event that countless people had died in the crowd and that hundreds more had been injured. “Travis didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party,” the insider claimed.

“As far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place.”

The victims of the mass casualty incident during his Astroworld concert varied in age from 14 to 27 years old. Various lawsuits are flooding in including one filed on Tuesday by the family of a 9-year-old kid who is battling for his life after being crushed during the performance against Scott, who has promised to cover the accompanying funeral costs.

Meanwhile, Drake released a statement Monday night saying, “My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone who is suffering.”

“I will continue to pray for all of them and will be of service in any way I can. May God be with you all,” he concluded.

The festival was covered by a $26 million insurance coverage at NRG Park, where it was hosted. Other regulations may exist, but it’s unlikely that all of them will cover a spate of decisions that appear to be inescapable. Hundreds of millions of dollars in judgements are possible as per the principal outlet of the news.
