The former couple have broken up after five years of dating and a seven-month engagement.
James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss released a joint statement on their separate Instagram pages on Sunday that they have called it quits as well as calling off their engagement.
“After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement.”
“We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love,” the statement concluded.
According to PEOPLE, the pair broke up while shooting the Bravo show’s 9th season reunion in Los Angeles on Friday, and Leviss is claimed to have returned the engagement ring on camera and was spotted without it later that evening at dinner.
The two got engaged in May when Kennedy proposed with a Coachella-themed proposal. They both announced their engagement with a heartfelt social media commemoration earlier this year.
“James proposed at the iconic Empire Polo Fields of ‘RACHELLA’ Friday night… and I said YES! I’m over the Coachella moon ✨🌵🌙 #RACHELLA,” Leviss originally posted with a set of memorable images from the occasion. Kennedy also posted a photo of the two kissing on Instagram to mark the occasion and captioned the photo, “THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, said yes. 💍 💕 #RACHELLA.”
