Dua Lipa And Anwar Hadid Have Ended Their Relationship After Two Years Together

The two made their red carpet debut at the 2019 American Music Awards.

The Grammy winner and her model boyfriend were in “crisis” mode earlier this month, and additionally revealed that “traveling so much and being apart is proving tough.”

“Dua and Anwar are currently taking a break from their relationship and are spending time apart,” a source disclosed to PEOPLE. “They’re figuring things out right now.”

The pair had not been seen together in about six weeks, according to the publication, while Lipa was in London and Los Angeles writing new songs and Hadid was in New York City.

Following sources also stated that the couple had broken up and reconciled many times before finally going their separate ways “for good.”

Lipa and Hadid initially made news in 2019 when she was seen at Hadid’s 20th birthday party. After being caught together on several times in New York City, the former couple made their relationship public in October 2019.

Later that month, Lipa seemed to get closer to Hadid’s family when she visited Anwar’s sister Bella Hadid’s 23rd birthday party and posed for photographs with the whole group, including his oldest sister, Gigi Hadid.

Dua and Anwar have frequently made lovely sentiments about one other on their social media profiles since then.

Hadid paid Lipa a lovely Instagram tribute on her 26th birthday, writing, “Happy birthday girl of my dreams. Love u forever and always,” on his Instagram Story back in August.

The “Levitating” singer revealed briefly about her romance with Rolling Stone in January, despite the fact that the pair remained pretty secret, “I’m very comfortable in the relationship, more so than any others,” she said at the time.
