Kardashians’ Business Manager Allegedly Murdered By Boyfriend In L.A.

Angela Kukawski was discovered dead in her automobile on December 23, according to the Valley Bureau Homicide Department of the Los Angeles Police Department.

She was reported missing from her Sherman Oaks residence on December 22nd, as per press release received by PEOPLE. On Dec. 23, cops in Simi Valley, Calif., were investigating a missing persons complaint when they discovered Kukawski dead inside her vehicle.

Jason Barker, her 49-year-old boyfriend, was arrested and charged with her murder. Authorities think Barker murdered Kukawski in their Sherman Oaks home and then took her corpse to Simi Valley, where she was discovered.

Kukawski has collaborated with a variety of celebrities, including Nicki Minaj and Kanye West. She worked for Tupac’s estate as well.

“We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski,” a member of her company, Todd Bozick, told Variety. “Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”

The Kardashian-Jenner family also paid tribute to their former business manager in a statement sent to PEOPLE which reads, “Angela was truly the best. She cared about every one of us and made things happen that were impossible.”

“She will be greatly missed and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time.”

“We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski,” another statement sent to the outlet made by Boulevard Management. “Angie was well respected amongst her peers, and she was a kind, and wonderful person.”

“She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”
