In the face of controversy, she has now apologized for her previous Facebook postings.

After many questionable social media postings purporting to support “White Lives Matter” from 2020 emerged this week, fans are clamoring for Jennie Nguyen to be removed from “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”

During the ongoing Black Lives Matter rallies in 2020, Nguyen reportedly tweeted and shared images and photographs that included terms like “BLM Thugs” and “Violent Gangs.”

“I’m sick of people saying cops need more training,” says one tweet supposedly shared by the reality star in September 2020. “You had 18 years to teach your kids it’s wrong to loot, steal, set buildings a blaze, block traffic, laser people’s eyes, overturn cars, destroy buildings and attack citizens. Who failed who? ”

Another one, obtained by Page Six and posted on September 2, reads, “Hundreds of blacks shot and many killed (including children) by other blacks every week. Over a thousand Officers violently injured, some permanently, by rioters. Anarchists rioting in major cities every night, which has caused billions of dollars of destruction to private and public property. And you still think Police Officers are the problem. You are an idiot.”

Nguyen then, posted an apology statement on Instagram on Wednesday in response to outrage for her previous Facebook statements writing, “I want to acknowledge and apologize for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 that resurfaced today.”

“At the time, I thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were.” She also claimed that she “deactivated” the account “more than a year ago” after recognizing she was causing more damage than good.

“[It’s] why I continue to try and learn about perspectives different from my own,” the real housewife added. “I regret those posts and am sincerely sorry for the pain they caused.”

Nguyen’s public apology comes after she voiced her disappointment with co-star Mary Cosby for expressing on the show’s Jan. 2 episode that she appreciated her “slanted eyes.”

Fuck #RHSLC FIRE #jennienguyen racist ass

#RHOSLC #MaryCrosby walking away from #jennienguyen, the dumpster fire …

What's sad about the things Jennie Nguyen posted on FB is she's a person of color. In this divisive, racist & cruel era, I'm 100% sure she's getting the same energy she projected on African American's due to the way she looks & her ethnicity- SMDH #RHOLSC #JENNIE #jennienguyen

Y’all better have the same energy for Jennie’s intentionally blatant racism & hate speech that y’all had for Mary Cosby’s ignorant statements. Where y’all at 👀 #RHOSLC #FireJennie #jennienguyen

Good night, to everyone except JENNIE NGUYEN. She’ll be hearing more from me (probably from a burner account, since she blocked me, after I called her out on not acknowledging doing an exaggerated neck roll and “blaccent” in reference to Mary M. Cosby), tomorrow. Rest up. #RHOSLC

The Jennie Nguyen anti-black lives matter and pro-Trump posts made me throw up. Please don’t bring her back next season @Andy #RHOSLC

It’s not just Jennie. I’ve been uncomfortable for a long time by how many Asian-Americans rallied to be heard when racist attacks on us became rampant. We wanted everyone to stand behind us even though we as a community have done hardly anything to show we are allies to others.

me waking up to see all of Jennie Nguyen’s problematic Facebook posts resurfacing
