So, how did she lose 30 pounds?

Since commencing production for Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” in February, Gina Kirschenheiter has experienced a fitness makeover.

During an interview on HollywoodLife TVTalk on November 4, the real housewife said that she had shed roughly “30 pounds” since the cameras began rolling again nine months ago, sharing that she achieved her goals with “diet and exercise.”

“I’m OK if I’m heavier,” Gina began. The Bravo star, on the other hand, realized it was time to make a lifestyle shift. “I look at myself and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, I didn’t even really realize that I had gained so much weight until I literally couldn’t even fit in my pants and it was like — Wow, this is a problem’.”

The mother of three claimed that being back in routine with her kids reignited her weight-loss objectives after moving in with her partner Travis Mullen in February.

“The kids went back to school and that gave me free time and then going out and about a little bit more and it’s keeping me away from the refrigerator,” she continued.

Throughout her quarantine, Gina developed an unhealthy lifestyle, which she has finally overcome, “For so long we were just at home and I wasn’t driving. So I was home all the time and you know how that is, and I’m like, ‘Well I’m home. Let me just go in the deli drawer.’ A pack of salami later, you’ve got an extra 30 pounds.”

Gina also performed hot yoga to lose the “extra 30 pounds,” and attends lessons at Ladera Yoga, “You’ll see me attempt to do that, because I used to do that all of the time and it’s so sad watching myself struggle, but hopefully I’m going to film there again next year and I can have a redemption moment.”

“Definitely alcohol,” Gina said when asked whether she has cut down on particular meals. “For me, wine is the killer,” she added. “So I don’t keep it in the house and I don’t drink during the week. I try to make rules like that unless we don’t have the kids and it’s date night.”

“Tonight, I’m just home with the kids and Emily [Simpson] told me actually, you’ve got to just not eat after five p.m. I did that too and that was super helpful,” she remarked adding that she feels healthier and better today as a result of her new routine, yoga passion, and increased awareness of her alcohol usage.

However, Gina made it clear that weight varies in all bodies, “The bottom line is, this is probably not the last time you’re going to see me with love chunk and I won’t even have that excuse!”

“I’m just going to be that person and I’ve always gone up and down, and I think stress is a factor for me which is why I think I started the show so thin. Now I’m probably at where you’ll see me in general unless I go up again.”

Her weight loss journey received nothing but love among her fans, who immediately expressed their support and love for her weight loss journey on social media. One of her fans even wrote, “She didn’t look like she had 30 lbs on her to lose but good for her if she’s living a healthier lifestyle,” which obviously commended her decision to improve her lifestyle.
