90 Day Fiancé alum Geoffrey Paschel was sentenced to 18 years in jail without the possibility of parole almost four months after his conviction for various offenses, according to The Sun.

The prosecution summoned two witnesses to the sentencing hearing: the victim and Paschel’s ex-wife Allison Moon. Moon spoke about similar violent crimes she claims were perpetrated against her, which led to her abandoning her husband and their shared kid.

Paschel was apprehended following an incident in June 2019 involving his ex-wife, Kristen Wilson. He allegedly grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against a partition a few times before tossing her to the ground and hauling her away. Wilson swore that the TLC star would remove her phone and wouldn’t allow her leave the home, but while Paschel was asleep, she ran away to a neighbor’s house.

Wilson was diagnosed with a concussion after the event, and authorities reported noticing bruises and scratched patches on her body. During the preliminary, Paschel asserted that Wilson’s wounds were “self-inflicted,” and asserted they were both inebriated at the time.

Geoffrey Paschel featured in TLC’s 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, during season four. He was introduced to Varya Malina on the program, but due to the charges against him and his criminal background, fans demanded that he be removed from the program in March 2020 and was not invited to the full account tape.
