All of the victims are currently recovering well.
During a chaotic altercation outside a club in West Hollywood early Saturday morning, four individuals were wounded. NBC News reports that some law enforcement officials involved with the inquiry have verified that Kodak Black, known by his legal name Bill Kapri, was one of the persons shot in the event.
A video of Kodak Black and his crew exiting a restaurant when the brawl broke out has also been acquired by TMZ. A series of gunshots rang out as the rapper sought to strike someone. The rapper was hit in the leg.
“Preliminary investigation revealed there was a physical altercation between several individuals at the location. Gunshots were fired by an unknown suspect, who then fled south from the location,” a statement issued by the Los Angeles Police Department reads.
“Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported two victims to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers discovered there were two additional victims who self-transported to local hospitals, bringing the total shot to four. All four victims are listed in stable condition.”
