The catastrophic 2021 Astroworld Festival claimed the lives of ten individuals.

Travis Scott delivered his first public performance at a private pre-Oscars home party in Bel Air, California, more than four months after a tragedy at his Astroworld Festival in Houston, which claimed the lives of ten people and wounded hundreds more.

Numerous celebrities were allegedly in attendance, including Leo DiCaprio, Venus and Serena Williams, YG, and Tobey Maguire, as reported by Pitchfork. As seen in footage shot by fans on social media, the rapper took the microphone and sang his popular song “Sicko Mode.”

He wore a black leather jacket, a graphic T-shirt, a black flat brim baseball hat with the word “IRAK” on it, and a gold pendant necklace to the occasion. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, was noticeably not around.

“Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva held their annual Oscar Bash last night,” a source informed Page Six, “where Travis Scott made a surprise first performance since Astroworld.”

“Scott took to the mic to give Darren and Richie a shout out, who were front and center to watch him DJ and perform live at the same time,” the source continued, adding that the VIP audience included Tyga, who was spotted flirting with model Izabella Metz while watching the performance.

As we previously reported, Scott has just been removed off the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’s 2022 lineup. This is in response to the chaos that erupted at his Astroworld Festival, which resulted in hundreds of injuries and ten deaths, including Ezra Blount, a 9-year-old child.

As of late January, the almost 2,800 victims who have filed over 400 lawsuits against him and Live Nation in connection with the music festival catastrophe have been consolidated into one case. The plaintiffs are demanding billions of dollars in damages and argue that the music event was planned and managed negligently.
