“SNL” Star Kenan Thompson & Wife Christina Evangeline Called It Quits After 10 Years of Marriage

The couple married in November of 2011 and had two kids together.

Kenan Thompson and his wife Christina Evangeline for 10 years, have decided to dissolve their marriage. They’ve been separated for nearly a year and have been co-parenting their two children, although neither of them has filed for divorce at this time.

“The two simply grew apart, but are able to remain great friends,” a source told TMZ. It was also reported that Evangeline stays in New York City while Thompson is shooting his NBC sitcom “Kenan” in Los Angeles.

“Being married for 11 years, together for 14, changes a lot of things. They really just grew apart and wanted different things,” a different source added to US Magazine. “There’s nothing juicy about why they split.”

In 2011, the now former married couple tied the knot in Atlanta’s Georgia Aquarium. Evangeline and Thompson met through industry connections as talent manager Danny Estrada introduced them to each other. They have two daughters together named, Georgia Marie and Gianna Michelle.

“[They’re] very happy. They’ve lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends,” an insider told the publication after their wedding. “She was thrilled and [was] a beautiful bride.”

Thompson has been a part of “SNL” since 2003, making him the show’s longest-serving cast member. Evangeline, on the other hand, is a model, actress and interior designer.

This is sad but I have been noticing things since his show came out, namely an interview where he said his wife was mad that he was married to a BW on the show. Then he would wear his ring on SNL more then got a tat on his ring finger…just observations.
