She suffered four leg fractures as a result of the accident, which necessitated surgery.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Vanderpump wore heels for the first time since her horseback riding accident on January 30, during filming of “Vanderpump Rules” on Thursday night.
“This is actually my first time out in heels,” the reality star shared to Page Six exclusively at SUR, the West Hollywood restaurant and lounge where she shoots her program.
“My doctor said, ‘I’m used to getting my patients out on the field, playing basketball, playing baseball or football. But for you, it’s the heels! That’s the most important thing!,’” she continued.
Despite the fact that the restaurateur was delighted to flaunt her periwinkle heels, her right ankle was still covered in medical tape, “I’ve just started to walk again,” she added.
Vanderpump was horseback riding at The Paddock in Los Angeles on Jan. 30 when the horse became agitated and bucked her off. She reportedly soared over the horse’s head and fell on her back, according to an eyewitness.
As previously reported by the publication, her husband, Ken Todd, believes she may never ride a horse again, “I think maybe that was her last ride. I wouldn’t let her ride again.”
“I was there,” he added. “When I saw her thrown off, I couldn’t believe it. I was in shock. I ran over there, and she was just on the floor, and she knew that she’d broken her leg straightaway.”
Vanderpump also disclosed that she would “never go back” to Bravo TV’s hit reality show “RHOBH” saying, “I’m happy I left.”
“I tried to leave three or four times,” she recalled afterwards, adding, “I would never go back. That’s a hot mess that I could do without.”
