Natasha Lyonne And Fred Armisen Part Ways After 8 Years Together

They were last seen together at the Golden Globes in 2020.

Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen have called it quits after nearly a decade of dating, citing an unusual reason for their split.

Lyonne disclosed the reason behind their breakup in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published on Friday saying, “I had been [in Los Angeles] living with Fred and during COVID. I honestly think we broke up because I wanted a swimming pool.”

“We love each other just about as much as two people can love each other and we’re still talking all the time, but Freddy doesn’t like a swimming pool. It might seem like a mundane reason for a breakup, but during that pandemic, you’ve got to get your laps — I’m like Burt Lancaster in The Swimmer.”

“So, I got myself a house with a pool out in Los Angeles. So that’s the real scandal. I guess I finally am an actual bicoastal,” she added, revealing her plan to buy a property in the Los Angeles region that has a pool.

The now-former couple were initially linked in 2014 after being introduced to one another by “Saturday Night Live” cast member Maya Rudolph and attending Netflix’s post-Emmys party at the Chateau Marmont.

They were last seen together at the Golden Globes in 2020. Following that, Lyonne was sighted at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off in September 2021 hand-in-hand with a new guy.
On the other hand, Armisen was previously married to Sally Timms from 1998 until 2004. He later married Elisabeth Moss in 2009 and divorced in 2011.
Representatives for Lyonne and Armisen did not immediately reply to requests for comment from various news sites.
