“I never wanted to show these photos publicly because I’m ashamed of where I let myself get, but here I am showing my transformation because I want to be transparent with you all,” Emily wrote in her Instagram caption.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star added that she’s proud of how far she has come and will continue to go with her weight loss journey. Emily also revealed that she lost “herself and confidence” after gaining 30 lbs. within a year while being watched by millions of people on the reality TV show.

In the before photo, the Bravo star is wearing her workout gear, a black tank-top, which is pulled up a bit, showing her stomach. But, in the after photo, Emily can be seen wearing a black fitter bodysuit, proudly flaunting her curves and weight loss transformation.

“I mean, I wanna do all those things, so I just try to keep it, like, a healthy balance,” she said.

Emily also noticed the changes in her body as she got older. Yet, this is not a problem for her now, and she’s learning to embrace it. She accepted that the body changes as the person gets old, which is OK.

“I’m happy. I’m healthy. My kids are healthy. My relationship with my husband is good. I wish my butt were a little smaller, but what am I gonna do? I can’t have it all,” she added.
