Former ‘RHONY’ Cast Member Elyse Slaine Divorces Husband Reinhold Gebert

After almost four years of marriage, they've decided to call it quits.

Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Elyse Slaine is divorcing her spouse Reinhold Gebert, who is the chief operating officer and chief risk officer of Teza Technologies, a trading corporation situated in Chicago, Illinois.

“Reinhold and I continue to care deeply for one another and remain close friends in what will be a very amicable divorce,” Elyse said in a statement to Page Six on Friday.

In 2018, the reality star and Gebert tied the knot, barely five years after legally divorcing her first husband, David Slaine in 2013.

Elyse first appeared as a “friend of the Housewives” among full-time cast members McSweeney, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley in Bravo TV’s hit reality show from Season 12 in 2020.

However, despite her participation in the show, her relationship with her now-ex-husband was not given much attention during her time on the screen.

Prior to her marriage to Gebert, Elyse was romantically involved to David Slaine, a Wall Street banker who pled guilty to conspiracy and securities fraud in 2009. He allegedly avoided jail time by cooperating with the government in a major insider trading investigation.

According to the publication, Gebert was also last seen on her active Instagram profile in a selfie in July 2020, just after the two commemorated their two-year anniversary of their seashore wedding. Housewives like McSweeney commented on the post.
