Aliana Mawla Breaks Silence After Liam Payne’s Split From Maya Henry

She is denying claims that she was the cause of the former couple's breakup.

Aliana Mawla is now breaking her silence and decided to defend herself against rumors saying that she is the cause of Liam Payne and ex-fiance Maya Henry’s breakup.

In a statement to E! News, the model’s representative stated: “Aliana is very taken back by the accusations that have been made regarding a relationship with Liam while he was still engaged or involved with [his] ex fiancé.”

“Under no circumstances would Aliana have involved herself in a public relationship as such if there was any truth to the comments that have been made.”

“She is very protective of her personal life and has nothing more to say at the moment other than she is very happy and does not wish to discuss this situation moving forward,” her statement concluded.

The accusations stemmed from Henry’s response when fans were unsure if she was the person Payne was hugging in one of the photos that emerged online, writing, “I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman.”

“This is not me and it’s hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now.”

The couple announced their breakup only last week and one day after their separation was confirmed, the former One Direction member was seen walking hand-in-hand with his new girlfriend in London.

“He abruptly ended it with her,” an insider told the publication. “She is very upset. They have definitely had their fair share of ups and downs in their relationship.”

Payne proposed to Henry in August 2020, after the now-ex couple revealed their relationship in September 2019. In June of last year, the two called it quits but reunited on the red carpet as a couple in London in October of that year.

Maya should consider the latest breakup a blessing. Either Liam and Aliana were very aware of what they were doing....or Liam lied to her saying it was over with Maya. Knowing Liam's history, I say the latter. Maya seems too much a lady to be w/ a guy who gives zero f***s.
