We send our heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and fans who are mourning his passing.
Tyler Sanders, an Emmy-nominated actor who appeared in “9-1-1: Lone Star” and “Fear the Walking Dead,” died at home in Los Angeles at the age of 18 years. His cause of death, however, remains uncertain and under investigation.
His death was confirmed by his talent agent Pedro Tapia in a statement acquired by New York Post, saying, “The cause of death is unknown and currently being investigated. We can’t comment further beyond this.”
“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
Five days ago, Sanders shared an Instagram photo of himself wearing a blue suit and spectacles with the caption, “Styling.”
He also shared a photo of himself and his fellow “9-1-1 lone star” co-stars on Instagram eight weeks ago, with the statement, “Had a great time working on 9-1-1 lone star! If you didn’t catch it live on Fox, episode 3.14 “impulse control” is out on Hulu now!”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Rob Lowe, one of his co-stars in “9-1-1: Lone Star,” paid homage to the young actor, stating, “I’m saddened to hear about the passing of Tyler Sanders. He was a wonderful actor to work with on 9-1-1 Lone Star and will be missed. My thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.”
He was later nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2021 for his part as Leo in the “Just Add Magic” spin-off, and he was in post-production on two further projects.
