She's working her way back into the public eye.

Lori Loughlin is back in the limelight, this time in Los Angeles for the DesignCare 2022 Gala. This marks her first public appearance since the 2019 college admissions scandal.

The event will benefit the HollyRod Foundation, which was established by Holly Robinson Peete and her husband Rodney Peete, to help people with autism and Parkinson’s disease.
The actress, who previously served almost two months in prison in connection with the controversy, sported a dark blue, long-sleeved dress, accessorizing with a rose quartz box clutch and strappy silver sandals.
Her last red carpet appearance was at The Women’s Cancer Research Fund Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., where she was joined by her daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella.

Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli pled guilty in 2020 to claims that they paid $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California rowing squad, even if they had no prior experience with the sport.

Following her guilty plea, the actress was sentenced to two months in prison, a $150,000 fine, and 150 hours of community service. According to The Daily Mail, she started her term in a federal prison in Dublin, California in October 2020 and was freed in December 2020.

Mossimo, on the other hand, also had his share of the consequences of their bribery. He was sentenced to five months in prison, a $250,000 fine, and 250 hours of community service. The fashion designer then moved to home confinement in April 2021, roughly a month before his sentence was to complete.

Reactions to Lori Loughlin Walks The Red Carpet For the First Time After College Admissions Scandal

Since prison. You mean since prison.

All is always forgiven on the carpet.

That’s a no for me.

yay!!!!:))))

I love Lori!!

She’s not the first rich person to bribe her child’s way into college. Doubt she’ll be the last. She was unlucky enough to get caught.

The audacity!!stay at home babes you took away a college space from another kid who wasn’t as privileged as you.

Wow, I, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone else, forgot all about that.

The only reason why she’s the one who got caught was because she’s a woman. If she was a rich white man it would have been swept under the rug.

If she was a black woman, she would’ve gotten 20 years. White privilege and celebrity privilege at its finest.
