A video currently attracting attention on the internet about the US Army medic criticized the US Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade.

The video shows a woman, a US Army medic to be precise, becoming dismayed over the idea that she is receiving unfair treatment as a woman in her country. On the contrary, it had caused her to face criticism.

A currently deployed female army medic points out that the US “treats women like second-class citizens.” The three-minute video was posted on June 24, when the landmarking decision was announced.

She addressed that she extended her contract to continue serving the country. However, she questioned how she was supposed to swear to support and defend the Constitution and the country that treats its women poorly?

The US Army medic continues with the tirades of “how am I supposed,” questions about the treatment, and how she learned about the high court’s decision after waking up from a nap.

“I am heartbroken. I am enraged. I am terrified,” was the TikTok video’s caption.

She continued that the effect on female military members was unanticipated; therefore, neither the legislators nor the Supreme Court judges considered it when they published their 213-page report on the matter.

“You support the troops, even though you’re going to ruin some women’s careers.” she scoffed.

According to the deployed Army soldier, women in the army experience more unplanned pregnancies and have “minimal access to birth control.” She also added that getting an ultrasound requires leaving the post.

To conclude, the US Army medic promised to carry out her legal duty to serve the United States. She spoke out against the repercussions of the controversial Supreme Court ruling.

As soon as Posobiec published the footage with his Twitter followers, social media users reacted with fury. The video garnered more than 1 million views as of now.

A user wrote, “Every soldier should question their loyalty to the US.”

Another user questioned having a child, saying, “Who’s forcing women to have kids? Is that a new law?” While the other user points out, “It is extremely easy to not get pregnant…”
