Kodak Black Arrested In Florida For Possessing 31 Pieces Of This Illegal Pill

Kodak Black was ultimately detained once more after a traffic stop revealed he was in possession of 31 Oxycodone tablets and about $75,000 in cash.

According to the report acquired by The Sun, the Florida Highway Patrol pulled Black’s car down on Friday for a traffic check after seeing that the windows seemed to be tinted darker than was authorized by law.

They noticed during the encounter that both his license and the vehicle’s registration were expired. Additionally, they noticed a marijuana scent emanating from his vehicle, which prompted them to check, during which they found 31 Oxycodone pills and $75,000 in cash.

The rapper—who is slated to perform at E11EVEN as part of Miami’s Rolling Loud Weekend—was subsequently taken into custody at the Broward County prison.

This isn’t the first time he had been arrested in Florida. Back in January of this year, Black was arrested in his hometown of Pompano Beach, on a trespassing allegation. He was later released at that time after posting bond.

As we previously reported, Black was shot at Justin Bieber’s after party at Hollywood Nightclub in February amid a tumultuous argument in which the rapper attempted to strike someone, leading to a series of gunshots.

The other victims at the time had non-life-threatening wounds, two more victims had self-transported to nearby hospitals, and the rapper himself was shot in the leg, bringing the total shot to four.

At the time of this writing, neither the rapper nor his agent had commented on his detention.
