They are both working on their new film, which the latter directed.
Florence Pugh is reportedly not on good terms with director Olivia Wilde during which the two worked together for their 2022 film “Don’t Worry Darling,” which Wilde directed.
The aforementioned movie will shortly have its international debut at the prestigious Venice Film Festival. However, reports began to circulate that the two don’t get along well because of Harry Styles.
We all know that Wilde and Styles are a couple, and this is also the reason Pugh feels uneasy around the filmmaker since she detested Wilde, who had an affair, before dating the singer and started seeing one other.
“I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason [Sudeikis] when she first hooked up with Harry,” a source informed Page Six.
Despite being engaged in 2012 and having children together (Otis and Daisy), the former couple announced their separation in November 2020.
“Jason and the kids visited Olivia on set at the beginning a few times, so I think this all made people feel a little uncomfortable,” the source added.
The fact that Pugh did not respond to Wilde’s recent Instagram post, in which the actress is gushing about her, or even click the like button, caused some online observers to conclude that the two do not get along.
“Watching this woman work was such a f–king thrill! Cannot wait to show you more. @florencepugh@dontworrydarling,” she captioned the said post which is met with no response by the “Little Women” actress.
On September 23, 2022, “Don’t Worry Darling” is scheduled for release, and two trailers have already been made available. This is Wilde’s second film as a director after the success of “Booksmart” in 2019. Pugh, on the other hand, is now starring in “Dune 2” as Princess Irulan.
