A famous makeup artist called her attention out for this specific photo.
If Kylie Jenner is recognized for any business, it is “Kylie Cosmetics,” which has long dominated the cosmetics industry. However, it appeared that she was pursued by beauty artist and cosmetics creator Kevin James Bennett after she shared this picture on Instagram.
In the disputed photograph, Jenner was seen working with items from her beauty brand while sporting a lab coat in what appeared to be a facility, but she was not wearing a hair net, gloves, or any other protective gear that would have been appropriate for the said place.
This obviously called the attention of Bennett, who immediately took to social media to point things out, writing, “I know the Kardashian/Jenner stans are going to come for my throat because I’m calling out their cosmetic queen…but WTF @kyliejenner 🤬🤨🤬”
“I’m a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job. I have very short hair, and I’ve NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask…and disposable GLOVES.”
The entrepreneur, he claimed, is “gaslighting” her fans into believing she is making cosmetics, and he questioned what foolish Italian company allowed her to organize this photo opportunity in their lab and on the production line without following the correct sanitary procedures.
He emphasized that he needs the name in order to ensure that his clients never deal with them. The makeup artist closed his statement by claiming that this is not how cosmetics are made and the photo is an inaccurate representation of their profession.
“Credible manufacturers follow STRICT sanitation protocols to protect you. #ShameOnYou #kyliejenner.”
Jenner, on the other hand, defended herself and immediately addressed Bennett’s allegation, writing: “kevin – this picture is not taken in a manufacturing facility. I would never bypass sanitary protocols and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner.”
“That’s completely unacceptable i agree. this is a small personal space creating my own fun samples and taking pictures for content nowhere near the mass manufacturing. no one is putting customers at risk !”
She criticized the cosmetic developer for disseminating such incorrect information as her final point. Unfortunately, their dispute didn’t appear to be over as Bennett responded to her comment and they once again exchanged retorts.
“So you were standing on a platform, looking into an expensive homogenizing kettle that had processed at least 50 liters of a complexion product (the product still covering the mixing paddles) without PPE or your hair tied back , wearing a @weareregi lab coat? But this is not a cosmetics manufacturing facility? It’s a personal space? Wow, there’s some serious gaslighting going on here,” he remarked.
He also added: “Shame on me? NO, shame on you or whoever takes care of your social media for trying to gaslight everyone into thinking I’m the one to blame. Just take responsibility for your mistake and move on.”
Jenner likewise replied and said, “Oh were you there kevin ? ugh now i have to change my dogs name,” to which Bennett responded once again, stating, “Are you seriously going to lie and then troll me? Wow.”
Fans have their own opinions on the subject, with some siding with the reality star and others agreeing with the beauty professional. Jenner’s representatives have not yet provided a response to any news media outlets regarding the matter.
