She even made a comparison to a different skincare brand.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel draws her co-entrepreneur Kim Kardashian into a debate about her skincare product, criticizing its packaging and even drawing comparisons to other skincare companies.

On Monday, the real housewife uploaded a brutally honest review of SKKN by Kim on her TikTok account, focusing on the brand’s $55 exfoliant and $75 eye cream. She is pleased with the product’s quality, although we may consider alternative brands for the packaging.

“The packaging. This is an eye cream, it is bulbous, I don’t understand it, because it doesn’t stack. I don’t have a circular house or medicine cabinet. It doesn’t even have a flat bottom, so it’s effectively like an egg. I guess it has a tiny little flat bottom but that’s impractical at best,” she said.

The television personality also stated that the exfoliator’s packaging was inspired by a “Wet ‘n Wild” concept and compared it to a Rubik’s Cube, saying, “This is crazy! It’s gigantic!”

“How are you going to travel with this? If you don’t have a private plane, you have to be a billionaire to use this product because if you don’t have a private plane, how are you traveling with this?”

“It’s just not practical, and I’m a very practical and organized person. This shocks me because don’t the Kardashians organize their jelly beans by color?” she continued, while also gushing about the fact that it’s like a Rubik’s cube.

Frankel recognized the product’s greatness despite her criticism of the packaging, noting, “The actual product of the exfoliant has a little bit of a fragrance, no problem!”

“And it’s got those micro white granules, you know we’ve seen them before, I feel like it was Proactiv or somebody else had those micro white granules, different lines have them. I like that form of exfoliating.”

“Is it worth the money they’re charging? Unlikely. And as far as the eye cream, luxurious product, very nice, like a melted butter consistency, but not like ultra rich. I would feel like for this price tag it’d be Chantecaille, Sisley rich. It’s not Kardashian rich. It’s richer than I am maybe, but it’s not Kardashian rich,” she added.

She concluded her video by saying that the quality of Kim’s skincare products are unquestionably good. However, she finds the packaging to be the sole drawback. It’s also probably a little expensive for her even if it’s a good-quality product, but according to the businesswoman, “most beauty is overpriced.”

There are nine items in the Skkn by Kim line, which made its debut on June 21. These include a cleanser, toner, exfoliator, hyaluronic acid serum, vitamin C serum, face cream, eye cream, oil drops, and night oil.

Frankel only discussed two items from the collection in the video, which she captioned, “And the most impractical packaging award goes to…..” in reference to the brand.
