This time will be different from the other two projects they have collaborated.

Jordan Peele and Daniel Kaluuya’s tandem is something that people would always love to see as the two really worked well with each other. As a matter of fact, Peele’s recent film “Nope” brings them together again after they last worked in his directorial debut film, “Get Out.”

Both films are a huge success considering “Nope” earned over $44 million on its first day while “Get Out” also had its successful opening week with $33 million earnings. The two will now collaborate once more, but this time, it won’t be as a director and actor pair.

According to Cheat Sheet, “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul” will be produced by a collaboration between Peele and Kaluuya. This will be Kaluuya’s second producer credit as well.

Based on the IMDB synopsis of the comedy film, “In the aftermath of a huge scandal, Trinitie Childs, the first lady of a prominent Southern Baptist Mega Church, attempts to help her pastor-husband, Lee-Curtis Childs, rebuild their congregation.”

The aforementioned movie stars Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown. Adamma Ebo, making her feature directorial debut, wrote, produced, and directed the film. Focus Features has set September as the date for both the theatrical and Peacock releases.

Peele and Kaluuya reuniting as director-actor is still very likely to happen, but this time, they’ll be concentrating more on making the comedic movie. For now, you can watch “Nope” or wait for the fruit of their work in “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.”
