What Happened Last Season on Wentworth? (Season 9)

Stella Aurora

In Season 9 of Wentworth, Ann Reynolds died in a way that was much more appropriate for the villain she turned out to be than Judy Bryant, who was discovered dead in the wreckage after being pierced through the chest by falling debris.

Vera was astonished to discover Ann in her office, rummaging through papers appearing as if nothing had occurred, as the dust settled in the aftermath of the explosion and the cops hurried to account for one another and the inmates.

Lou Kelly informs Sheila that she is ill. Sheila doesn’t dispute it and claims Lou is to blame for it. Will reports to Vera Bennett (Kate Atkinson) that a CCTV image shows Sheila leaving the cellblock before Reb Keane’s (Zoe Terakes) passing.

Sheila disagrees with Lou’s prediction that she will live after ingesting the poison because Dr. Brian Mendel (Brian Vriends) didn’t. Sheila doesn’t see sense in her being told that she is sorry because she isn’t. As the guards look for her, she chugs the poison and soon starts to suffer on the ground.

Lou starts assisting her, and they soon put an end to her. Will discovers her body there after they leave it there. Before the alarm goes off, Lou and Marie are sitting in the cafeteria together. Sheila’s disappearance is swiftly discovered by Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson) and the others.

Ferguson asks if she is in the slot; Lou responds that she is deceased and she is not. Lou queries what she is focusing on. Before Marie takes the floor, Will Jackson (Robbie Magasiva) speaks with the board member. Since she was the boss, Marie acknowledges that she collaborated closely with Will. Marie’s claim that their relationship never progressed sexually irks Ann Reynolds (Jane Hall).

Marie informs Will that she lied because of his consistent kindness to her. She says he helped save her life. She is aware of his lack of gratitude.

She instantly initiates kissing. He stands up and walks away silently. Marie follows Rita down the hallway the following day so they may discuss Kath and Lou.

Rita believes they will have to make Kath accept the blame, but Marie doesn’t want to. For Will and Vera to confront Greg about the kiss with Allie, Greg is dragged into Will’s office. He finds out that Allie has filed a formal sexual harassment complaint against him.

Greg understands that he has been duped. He queries what sort of individuals employ a helpless woman in a wheelchair to carry out their illicit business. Lou then drags Joan into the wash so that she can be disciplined and learn her lesson.

Now that she has dealt with the mole, she thinks Lou might start to open up. Lou pays attention to her while attempting to bug Judy’s phone but almost gets caught. Ferguson is receiving medical attention from Nurse Shen (Chloe Ng) as Greg enters the room and informs her that Will and Vera are aware of everything.

While Ann (Jane Hall) is mocked by the minister of corrections on the phone, Jake (Bernard Curry) visits Ann. To help her forget about it, she wants to have sex with Jake, but he declines this time. Lou keeps playing the tapes of her discussing Reb. To poison Ferguson, Vera obtains some borax. Before adding Kath’s name to the bottle, she fills it with milk and mixes it.

Ferguson develops her own murderous strategy for Vera in the meanwhile. Because he wants to tell Vera about sleeping with Ann, Jake knocks on the door and stops her from carrying out her murderous plan. He acknowledges having sex with her a few times.
