It seems like someone is getting a little bit too close here.

Jenna Bush Hager, Justin Sylvester, and Andy Baraghani acted as hosts and guests, respectively, on Wednesday’s episode of “Today” Food. The three can be seen roasting a chicken in a viral video circulating online.

Aside from cooking a roast chicken, the clip also precisely recorded a scene in which Sylvester appeared to push Hager away twice when she drew too close to him, creating an uncomfortable scenario for the audience.

Hager can be seen rubbing his back for the first few seconds after placing her arm around his shoulder. She was then playfully pushed aside by the Daily Pop star. She approached him again immediately away the second time, which prompted another push and acknowledged it with an expression of disbelief directly at the camera.

Many different viewpoints have been expressed on social media, some of which are included in the reactions below. This prompted Sylvester to set the record straight and shared his point of view on Instagram.

“People thought that she was invading my space, and that’s actually not the truth,” he said in a video while while having a facial. “What we were doing was we were both flirting.”

“Well, I was flirting with the chef because he was cute and I was pushing her out of the way so I could have a one-on-one moment with the chef and people took it the wrong way.”

He continued by praising the former president George W. Bush’s daughter and said, “That girl is one of the nicest, most welcoming people that I’ve ever met.”

Although Hager hasn’t officially commented on what transpired or Sylvester’s point of view at the time, it appeared that the two are still on friendly terms.

Reactions to Justin Sylvester Appears To Push Jenna Bush Hager Away On ‘Today’ Show

Damn! He had to push her out of the way twice and all of the rest of his body language was clearly telling her to back the f**k up. If he had done this to her the lynch mob would be at the stage door.

White women feel entitled to touch anyone they want. The entire Bush family is unmitigated trash.

He shrugged his shoulder away when she touched it, twisted is body away, and literally pushed her back, and she kept coming. She really was violating his person. Hew, he's not interested!!
