A horrifying video was caught on camera, which appears a snake got out from its own habitat. The mother has received praise for her courage and fast reflex.
The video shows a child and a woman walking out of the house. The cobra is spotted across the area in front of the house’s entryway, unnoticed.

The young boy and his mother, Priya, leave their house through the front entrance. The child walks forward without realizing that a cobra is crawling past, and as he does so, his foot comes within inches of the snake’s head.
The cobra opened its hood right quickly, and the child was about to get bit. The boy attempts to go back inside but instead finds himself face to face with the cobra as his mother suddenly discovers the snake and becomes startled.
The mother reacts quickly, picks her son up, carries him aloft, and flees for safety. The cobra also succeeds in escaping.
The video posted on Twitter is currently garnering more than 34.9k views and 1,200 likes. Most users commented on the tweet, praising the mother and some saying how lucky the boy was.
