A doctor at a clinic was allegedly hit by Milari Chhangte, the chief minister’s only child, in a recent video that went viral on social media.

The incident video shows Milari Chhangte, daughter of the Chief Minister, approaching the health professional and striking him in the face while other witnesses attempt to stop her.

After the skin specialist declined to meet her without an appointment, Milari lost her cool and erupted in anger. Prior to arriving at the clinic for a consultation, the doctor had requested that she schedule an appointment.

Doctors wore black badges to work yesterday as part of a protest against the assault organized by the Mizoram unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The Chief Minister and his family members also received harsh criticism on social media.

Eventually, the Chief Minister issued a formal apology via his official Instagram account. He stated he regrets his daughter’s inappropriate behavior with the dermatologist in Aizawl and would never defend it.

The video was currently posted on Twitter and Youtube. On Twitter, the video posted by Free Press Journal has garnered more than 209.2k views, and also viewers were enraged after watching the video.

It’s good to see how the Chief Minister didn’t tolerate the wrong act that his daughter committed, even though she is his only daughter. Some users’ comments acknowledge this act of CM regarding apologizing and saying he won’t defend his daughter’s act.
