The Real Housewives of Miami’s first season included six of Miami’s most connected and powerful women who live life to the fullest in this beautiful city where the party never ends. The television series setting is in Miami, Florida.

The ladies are homemakers, businesswomen, and philanthropists. Andy Cohen called the women “excellent characters” shortly after the season had aired.

Cast of The Real Housewives of Miami Season 1

  • Cristy Rice – is recently divorced from NBA player Glen Rice, but she doesn’t let that stop her. As a single mother of three, owning her own clothing business and enjoying the nightlife, Cristy manages to balance her new stage of life.

  • Larsa Pippen – is a stunning Assyrian-Lebanese woman, the wife of another NBA legend Scottie Pippen and one of Cristy’s closest friends. Larsa skillfully juggles her roles as a wife, mother to her four small children—three boys and one girl—and employer to the nannies she frequently fires. When Larsa isn’t concentrating on her role as a wife, mother, or boss, she likes to take time for herself.

  • Lea Black – is a native Texan now residing in Miami; she manages her family, career, and social life. Lea Black runs her enterprises and raises charity money in her spare time. She and her husband Roy Black, a renowned criminal defense lawyer, are raising their son, RJ. Lea founded The Blacks’ Annual Gala, which has raised millions of dollars for troubled youths for nineteen years.

  • Adriana De Moura – is a Brazilian Bombshell on the Miami art scene. She is a well-known curator in Miami. She studied French art and civilization at the Sorbonne Institute in Paris and Italian art in Florence before relocating to Miami and Hibiscus Island, one of Miami’s most affluent neighborhoods. De Moura takes excellent satisfaction in being a multilingual and cultured person who speaks five languages and has visited more than 40 different nations.

  • Alexia Echevarria – is the executive editor of Venue Magazine, referred to as the “Cuban Barbie.” Alexia and Herman are the definitions of Miami’s “Who’s Who,” participating in picture sessions with Marc Anthony and dining with Barack Obama. Although Alexia is the mother of Peter and Frankie, she acknowledges that sometimes she acts more like their older sister.

  • Marysol Patton – is a Miami-born and divorced for ten years, which gave her the time and energy to concentrate on her business. One of the top PR agencies in the area, The Patton Group, was founded and is still run by Marysol. She lives at home with her mother, Elsa, when she isn’t working or hosting a party for one of her famous customers.

Episode 1: Paradise Cost

Welcome to Miami, where the drama is hotter than the sun. In the first episode, Lea Black invites the ladies over to catch up and enjoy some delectable food. Still, when Adriana De Moura brings up the dissolution of her previous marriage, Lea becomes visibly upset. The six ladies may have sand between their toes, but sunbathing isn’t always enjoyable.

Episode 2: Black Ball'd

Lea Black has arranged for the wealthiest members of Miami society to attend the Black’s Annual Gala. Even in a lousy economy, celebrities visit in droves, people are bidding on auction items, and Lea is about to surpass her million-dollar record. But when Cristy Rice turns up with two pals without an RSVP, the evening is not without stress.

Episode 3: Optical Delusion

The ladies are invited to Adriana De Moura‘s most recent exhibition opening, which the well-known Miami art gallery owner hosts. However, the artist Adriana selected is not nearly completing all the paintings she commissioned him to do days before the show. Adriana implements a backup plan in full panic mode to keep her audience amazed and amused, but not all visitors find it funny. When Adriana’s fiery Brazilian temper flares, everyone starts talking about the drama rather than the art, and the evening comes to a close.

Episode 4: Waterfront & Center

At a graciously opened home of Alexia Echevarria, she invited the women to a Cuban-style meal. Vegetarian Lea, however, is disappointed with the food and uses a few superfluous words while eating. Adriana De Moura confides in Lea Black about her love life and financial predicament. At the same time, Cristy Rice wonders why Lea sent her an invoice for showing up late to the Black family’s annual gala.

Episode 5: Beach Slap

All women must attend Larsa Pippen‘s Italian cooking class at Scottie’s and her restaurant. Adriana De Moura starts questioning Cristy Rice about a rumor she heard about Lea’s gala while every woman is present. Lea Black speaks her views, adding further fuel to the flames and ruining Larsa Pippen’s luncheon. Philippe and Marysol Patton are excited to begin their new life together as they travel back to Miami from Aspen.

A philanthropic fashion show features Alexia Echevarria and Cristy Rice as models. Still, things turn for the worst when Alexia is involved in a terrible automobile accident on the way to the event. Cristy is left to put the parts together and complete the performance.

Episode 6: Miami Mamis Know Best

To add some spice to the gathering, Marysol Patton invites her mother, Elsa, and the other ladies for supper. Elsa calls Larsa Pippen “emotionally immature” after being tasked with reading the women’s energy over dinner, setting her off and causing the gathering to fall apart.

Alexia Echevarria has been working hard to prepare the way for her son Peter to become a model in the interim, even taking him to a modeling agency to sign with them.

Lea Black had been working diligently the entire time to organize a dinner party with Chef Michelle Bernstein. None of the girls know what they are about to embark on, so she must have something up her sleeve.

Episode 7: Watch What Happens Live: Miami Housewives Reunion

To clear the air with Andy Cohen, the women of Miami gather live at the Watch What Happens Live studio.
