Below Dec S9 - Captain Lee Rosbach

Below Deck’s Captain Lee lists some of the episodes’ most memorable scenes.

Episode 1 - One Step Closer to World Domination

Below Dec S9 - Heather Chase

An unknown face welcomes the My Seanna crew aboard as the season premieres, shocking everyone. Her frustration levels rise when Chief Stewardess Heather Chase is given a challenging task. First officer Eddie Lucas finds it challenging to update his staff while adjusting to the wheelhouse changes.

The harmony of the yacht is in danger due to unresolved stress from the previous year’s charter season. There will be a lot of effort the first night. The visitors have asked for a dinner with a Caribbean theme and a posh pajama party afterward.

Episode 2 - Boat Daddy

Below Dec S9 - Eddie Lucas

While the staff works hard to create a spectacular beach lunch for the guests, Eddie Lucas continues to grow frustrated with Captain Sean Meagher’s hands-on management style. Heather, Fraser Olender’s chief stew, pulls him in several directions, which causes housekeeping to slide through the cracks, much to the primary’s chagrin. Two crew members hook up on their first night out, which may portend rough seas for the entire crew.

Captain Lee Rosbach returns triumphantly to the M/Y Seanna as the sun sets over Whitehouse Bay. And seeing his mentor makes Eddie happier than ever. The Stud of the Sea sends Captain Sean into the sunset with a brief report on the first two days.

Episode 3 - Bourbon Buffoonery

Below Dec S9 - Jake Foulger

Captain Lee sets the rules as the crew prepares to board My Seanna with their second charter group. Eddie is adamant about elevating Jake Foulger to lead deckhand, but Captain Lee is hesitant. To the dismay of her stews, Heather is determined to atone for her housekeeping gaffes.

It is on the first charter and boosts her internal team’s effectiveness. Rayna Lindsey makes a new friend in Fraser. Rachel Hargrove confronts Eddie about the derogatory things he said about her behind her back during the previous charter season.

The crew wasn’t prepared for the raucous group that showed up on board and their wild activities. Fraser Olender and Jessica Albert are busy bonding over their shared distaste for Heather’s leadership (and tone) during turndowns. Captain Lee is the target of taunts about his residence and covert jokes about his wife.

Episode 4 - Pissed-On Chickens Can't Compare

Below Dec S9 - Eddie and Capt Lee

One of the charter guests exhibits negative behavior toward the crew of the My Seanna. Jessica starts to recall how much physical strain a charter season can put on your body while Jake struggles in his new role. While Eddie and Captain Lee are enraged by the stupid error made by the deck team, Wes and Jessica continue to grow closer.

As the crew alights for supper at Spice Mill, a game of truth or dare quickly takes over the festivities. Minus the Jenga component itself. Wes acknowledged during the round that he would prefer to make out with Jessica above everyone else on board.

Episode 5 - Leave Your Emotions at the Cabin Door

As Jake Foulger and Rayna strive to understand their thoughts following Jake’s confession, Eddie deals with the fallout from his relationship. Fraser begins to feel like a failure at work after losing his walkie-talkie. At the same time, Jessica receives distressing news from her family.

Captain Lee and Eddie are at their breaking point as the deckhands make yet another error. Another issue is brought about by Jessica’s dedication to her duties below deck. Her turndowns are fundamentally a failure; the cabins are a mess.

Episode 6 - He Kissed A Boy, and He Liked It

For the 75th birthday of the primary, Heather and the gang plan a surprise party with an 80s theme, but things go wrong when nothing goes according to plan. Eddie is compelled to put his first officer training on hold to take care of his crew after being frustrated by the blunders made by the deck team.

The group wants to help Wes and Jessica develop a romantic relationship. Still, when Jake makes a daring move toward another crew member, everyone is taken aback. After dinner, the group goes ashore, where a tipsy Jake begins to flirt haphazardly with Heather.

Episode 7 - Plenty of Jake to Go Around!

Below Dec S9 - Jessica Albert

Heather believes she and Jessica Albert are at a standstill and decides to make a change as the tiny errors made by the deck team mount. To Chef Rachel’s amusement, a breast cancer survivor shows in and has particular tastes. As Captain Lee and Eddie’s working relationship is tested, Rayna and Fraser’s tensions intensify.

Later on in the day, Captain Lee inspects the deck team’s work and is furious to witness the complete chaos on deck. There is salt all over the deck that Rayna and Wes claimed to have cleaned off. The jet skis have noticeable water stains all over them.

Episode 8 - Compliments of Captain Lee's Travel Agency

Below Dec S9 - Jessica and Wes

Jessica is uninspired to serve but is pleased to have Wes O’Dell at her side as a pleasant diversion while Captain Lee and Eddie become sick of the deck crew’s performance. An uneasy turn occurs when a late-night hot tub session gets too close for comfort during a regular family holiday. The team of My Seanna experiences a pivotal turning point on a night out.

Rayna confides in Fraser as they smoke before bed. At the same time, Jessica sits in her cabin, thinking about how miserable she is. She calls Heather’s racial slur to her friend’s notice and says she feels awful for disrespecting Eddie.

Episode 9 - When Eddie Met Sally

Below Dec S9 - Rayna Lindsey

Eddie and the deck crew have been making the same mistakes, and Captain Lee is getting agitated. As she thinks back on the night out, Rayna believes that other crew members are impacting how she performs on deck. While Jessica gives shocking news to Heather, a guest whose mouth is wired shut causes turmoil for Rachel.

Eddie is upset because he is sick of hearing his mentor chastise him for his team’s never-ending string of amateur mistakes. However, Rayna is the one who tries to create a confrontation with Heather as the crew gathers for dinner in the crew mess.

Episode 10 - The Smell of Sweat and Desperation

Below Dec S9 - Fraser Olender

Heather and Fraser are working hard without a third stew while Rachel continues to struggle with the requests from the main. While Rayna struggles with how to react to her crew’s indiscretions, Heather is sent into a spiral by earlier actions. The team has a crazy day off, which leads to some blossoming romances.

Wes demonstrates his sailing prowess as the group gets on the catamaran. The driver lets the deckhand steer the catamaran to Reggae Beach. At the same time, he is shirtless and in command, and it is evident that he is in his element.

Episode 11 - Shoulda Joined the Navy

Below Dec S9 - Rachel Hargrove

As the crew reconstructs the previous night, awkward tensions rise. To Heather’s dismay, Fraser’s fears surface when a new stew is promised. Rachel faces a problematic dinner service when a group of military visitors with particular dietary requirements arrive.

One deckhand reaches its breaking point when Lee lays down the hammer after numerous deck errors compound. Captain Lee stayed up all night contemplating. There must be a cause for that, and he wants the chief officer to address it. In the interim, let’s give Rayna a chance to develop and, hopefully, win some admiration.

Episode 12 - New Stew on the Block

Below Dec S9 - Capt Lee officiates renewal of vows of American couples

Love is seen in all its glory as U.S. Couples. It is with ties to the Navy renewing their vows on the My Seanna. Eddie investigates Rayna’s complaints and is taken aback by what he learns. Fraser’s vulnerabilities are tested as a new face arrives in St. Kitts.

The crew goes ashore for dinner at the Stone Barn Park Hyatt to commemorate their last night before the previous charter. The meal is served family-style, giving the impression that everyone on the crew gets along well. Thankfully, however, there is essentially no drama at supper.

Episode 13 - Unfinished Business

Below Dec S9 - Rachel is busy preparing breakfast

The second day of the charter begins in the morning. The mood on the boat is best described as, well, worn out and irritated. And for some reason, Heather is left bearing the brunt of everyone else’s pessimism.

In the kitchen, Rachel first snaps at her. Rayna then continues to ignore her as she prepares for breakfast. She even irritates Captain Lee by leaving a pirate costume in the wheelhouse.

While the internal staff deals with a demanding group of Hamilton-obsessed visitors, Eddie struggles to regain Rayna’s trust. As Rachel tries to make a lavish meal, Captain Lee is concerned that the crew’s reputation for providing five-star service may decline.

Episode 14 - We Made It, Ya Slags

Below Dec S9 - Eddie and Jake

During the final dinner service, Rachel, who is worn out, snaps at Heather because she can’t concentrate. Eddie and Jake conduct an excellent performance as a surprise for the visitors. The crew’s final night out brings long-simmering tensions to the surface.

Eddie will be given a special surprise by Captain Lee. The mega-yacht can be docked entirely by the first officer. It even appears briefly that Captain Lee might need to take over. However, the off-camera engineer manages to restart them just in time, making Eddie’s first docking a complete success. Lee is incredibly pleased.

Episode 15 - Reunion

For the Below Deck Reunion, host Andy Cohen sits down with the My Seanna cast. The deck team, however, had the most difficulty this season among all the departments. And when Andy asks Captain Lee to assign culpability, he puts the blame on himself.

Eddie Lucas’s move from bosun to a first officer was undoubtedly challenging. Jake might have gotten a little ahead of himself when he was initially named lead deckhand. But in the end, the captain asserts that it was his duty to assist in resolving the plethora of logistical and common sense issues that plagued his deck crew.
