When McSweeney used the term “former housewife” in a TikTok video that she shared on Instagram, it sparked suspicions that she was fired, with several followers expressing conflicted feelings.

“As a former Real Housewife of New York, these are five things that I would never do,” she said, starting with to never getting fully nude, destroying someone’s backyard and possibly setting it on fire.

She also stated that she would never wear a mesh bucket hat for the second one. The reality star continued by saying that she would refrain from passing out while intoxicated on live television as well.

McSweeney further vowed that she would never toss food in someone’s face and, last but not least, that she would never dirty dance or take the center stage at another woman’s birthday celebration.

As a result of the conflicting responses to her video, which raised the question of whether or not she had been dismissed from the show, the television personality uploaded a short clip to her Instagram stories, setting the records straight.

McSweeney clarified that she wasn’t attempting to stir up drama or make a major announcement. She backed up her explanation by pointing out that the show hasn’t aired or been filmed in an entire year and a half.
