The singer is currently hospitalized.

Post Malone made the last-minute decision to cancel his Boston Concert due to pain he was feeling from a disastrous concert fall a week earlier that led to him being hospitalized.

On Saturday, the singer posted a regrettable status update to Twitter, explaining that he’s having trouble breathing and that moving or breathing causes him to experience a searing pain.

Given the physical demands that concerts place on performers, and given how he describes his physical state in his statement, it makes sense that he was unable to perform and continuing to do so might have caused his condition to worsen.

“On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to a cracking sounds on the right side of my body,” he wrote. “I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different that it has before.”

The “Sunflower” singer promised to make it up to his supporters as he expressed his regret and how bad he felt as he concluded his tweet.

According to Page Six, Malone tragically lost his footing during his performance in St. Louis last week after inadvertently walking down a ramp and tripping over an unfixed hole.

The artist’s fall is captured on multiple videos, clearly demonstrating how his face and torso hit the ground with a thud and how much pain he was in. Nevertheless, he had to continue the show at that time despite his current state of condition.

On September 27, the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, will host Malone’s next stop on his “Twelve Carat Tour.” He also has a few additional performances scheduled for October. The new date for the Boston show has not yet been disclosed.

Reactions to Post Malone Abruptly Cancels Boston Concert Due To Physical Health Condition

The fact that celebrities have to apologize for protecting their health is crazy to me. These are people, not just musical robots.

😢Rest up Austin! Glad we got to see you in Boston the night before. Get better we love you @PostMalone
