On the “Vanderpump Rules” finale, long-standing friendships broke out as the original cast members struggled with their shifting dynamics in season 8 following the drama and chaos of Season 7.

After partnering with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz to successfully establish TomTom last summer, Lisa Vanderpump is busier than ever with her growing enterprise. Lisa deals with a new bunch of adorable and eccentric SURvers. Their romantic entanglements and office disputes accompany them since many of her long-term employees are now adults and have moved on.

Episode 1: There Goes the Neighborhood

Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, and Ariana Madix move into their first “grown-up” homes in the season eight premiere.

At the same time, Stassi Schroeder fights to mend her strained connection with Kristen Doute. To his ex-girlfriend Scheana’s dismay, TomTom general manager Max Boyens breaches the rules by dating the new hostess, Dayna Kathan.

Recently sober Lala confides in Lisa Vanderpump about her wish to make amends with an old acquaintance. When Tom Sandoval skips one of his wedding-related events, Jax finally returns.

Episode 2: Training Days

When the new server, Dayna Kathan, begins dating Max Boyens, despite Scheana Shay’s claims to the contrary, she makes Dayna’s life at SUR very challenging.

Carter’s continued relationship with Kristen irritates Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Brittany Cartwright, so Jax Taylor decides to exclude him from the bachelor/bachelorette trip to Miami.

After a bitter year of hostility, Lala Kent and James Kennedy finally resolve their conflict, and Ariana Madix tells Lisa Vanderpump about her mental difficulties.

Episode 3: Next Level Rage Texts

When Tom Sandoval texts Stassi Schroeder in a rage over being left out of the organizing of the book party for TomTom, it causes an epic confrontation between the two. It compels Tom Schwartz to choose sides between his two buddies. Due to their shared hate of Dayna Kathan, Scheana Shay and the new SUR server Charli become close friends, while Dayna and Max Boyens’s romance develops further.

Lastly, before everyone travels to Miami to honor Jax and Brittany Cartwright, Schwartz must attempt to heal the division in his friend group because Lisa Vanderpump is on a business trip abroad.

Episode 4: "Don't Do It, Brittany"

Beau Clark confronts Tom Sandoval about hitting Stassi Schroeder at her book reading when the gang travels to Miami for a wild bachelor/bachelorette party weekend.

Ariana Madix accuses Tom Schwartz of not doing more for TomTom, while Brittany Cartwright loses it when she receives an unexpected reminder of Jax Taylor’s adultery.

Dayna Kathan consults Lisa for guidance on handling Scheana while Lisa Vanderpump makes her inquiry into what went wrong at TomTom back in Los Angeles.

Episode 5: Grumpy Old Men

While Beau Clark, Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor, and Tom Schwartz are working on a surprising disguise for the girls, Jax and Brittany Cartwright are continuing their joint bachelor/bachelorette vacation.

Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder is caught up in a quarrel between Katie and Kristen Doute that could spell the end of their friendship. Danica Dow cautions Dayna Kathan about Max Boyens’ reputation as a womanizer at SUR. At the same time, Lisa Vanderpump must choose whether to let James Kennedy, a dangerous DJ, perform at TomTom for Gay Pride.

Episode 6: Your Pride's Showing

Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval prepare for TomTom’s first Gay Pride event, but their choice to employ James Kennedy as DJ backfires when Raquel gets into trouble at SUR and Lisa fears he’s drinking again.

Dayna Kathan eventually confronts Scheana, and Lisa Vanderpump supports Ariana Madix in coping with her sadness, The busiest day at SUR is difficult for Jax Taylor. Scheana Shay tries to prevent everyone from believing that she is jealous of Dayna.

Episode 7: It's Not About the Pastor

Brittany Cartwright receives a bridal shower with a princess theme from Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Lala Kent, while James Kennedy declines an invitation to Peter’s birthday celebration.

Raquel Leviss gets reprimanded by Lisa Vanderpump for leaving her shift during Pride, and Dayna Kathan and Max Boyens decide to move forward in their romance.

Finally, Sandoval and Ariana Madix choose a moral stand in response to a controversy involving Jax Taylor and Brittany’s minister that threatens to split the bridal parties and shatter their friendships forever.

Episode 8: Ex-Best Mn, Ex-Best Friend

After their violent altercation, Jax Taylor considers excluding Sandoval from Kentucky altogether and ejecting him from his wedding party.

In the meantime, Scheana Shay ruins Brett Caprioni and Charli Burnett’s date, and Ariana Madix pushes Lala Kent and Stassi Schroeder away as she descends into a dark place. As Lisa Vanderpump receives some unfavorable news, Brittany Cartwright must decide if Ariana will still be serving as one of her bridesmaids.

Episode 9: If You're Going to Drink, I Can't Stop You

Days before the Kentucky wedding, Jax Taylor must choose whether or not to pardon Tom Sandoval. At the same time, Ariana Madix finds it challenging to get excited about going to her birthday celebration. 

Carter’s attendance at the wedding is a point of contention between Katie and Kristen Doute, and Charli Burnett accuses Brett Caprioni of still having feelings for his ex. Raquel Leviss finally issues James Kennedy with an ultimatum to stop drinking or risk losing her forever after he repeatedly sends her cruel texts.

Episode 10: Jax's Last Hurrah

Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Lala Kent argue with Kristen Doute during the rehearsal dinner the night before Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding, which causes Jax to reveal a juicy secret about Katie and Tom Schwartz’s marriage.

In the meantime, Lisa Vanderpump plans a significant surprise for the couple in Los Angeles. James Kennedy and Max have a boys’ night to discuss their troubles with women when Dayna Kathan learns that Max Boyens may have cheated on her.

Episode 11: Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Cauchi

In a magnificent Kentucky wedding attended by friends, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright exchange vows; in the meantime, Stassi Schroeder wonders if Beau Clark will even consider proposing to her.

Lisa Vanderpump criticizes Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz for not registering their marriage, Tom Sandoval puts all of his efforts into serving as Jax’s best man, and Kristen Doute and Carter argue throughout their relationship. Danica Dow tries to dissuade Dayna Kathan from giving Max another opportunity at SUR.

Episode 12: All Daugs Go to Heaven

While Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz discover they must work with Kristen Doute despite their friendship, Tom Sandoval hosts an “extra”-themed birthday party to inspire his friends to be the best versions of themselves.

Following James Kennedy‘s recent recuperation, Lisa Vanderpump reignites their romance, while Lala’s attempt to patch things up with Raquel doesn’t turn out as she had hoped. Max Boyens seeks to ban Danica Dow from TomTom for interfering in his relationship. Additionally, Tom Schwartz holds a peculiar funeral for his deceased lizard, Daug.

Episode 13: Prank Wars

While interviewing Scheana Shay for his YouTube channel, Brett Caprioni insults her while Katie Maloney-Schwartz prepares a girls’ night with wine, cheese, and a guest list without Kristen Doute.

When Lala Kent criticizes James Kennedy’s sobriety, Raquel defends him, while Lisa returns to England to attend her mother’s funeral.

To celebrate Jax Taylor’s 40th birthday, Tom Sandoval and Max Boyens finally toilet paper Jax’s home, but this sets off a massive prank war that could endanger the romance between Tom Schwartz and Katie.

Episode 14: Shame Hangover

After their heated argument, Tom Schwartz apologizes to Katie, and Beau Clark tells them his intention to pop the question to Stassi Schroeder. Danica Dow receives criticism from Lisa for her attitude.

Also, Kristen Doute discovers she won’t attend Schwartz and Katie’s second wedding in Las Vegas. Brett Caprioni sets his eyes on a recently divorced Dayna Kathan despite Scheana’s emotional objections.

Episode 15: Mr. & Mrs. Schwartz, Take Two

To commemorate Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s second wedding, the group heads to Las Vegas, but they leave a devastated Kristen Doute behind. Beau Clark calls Stassi Schroeder’s father to get permission to propose. 

When Max Boyens spots a cocktail waiter who looks a lot like Scheana, Schwartz decides to target him after finding a bra in his luggage that doesn’t belong to Katie Maloney-Schwartz.

Lisa promotes the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. Back in Los Angeles, Dayna Kathan and Brett Caprioni develop their relationship while going on a double date with James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss.

Episode 16: Witches of WeHo Whine

Lisa Vanderpump assists Beau Clark in organizing a covert engagement party for Stassi Schroeder, but when Stassi attacks Kristen Doute at a wine event, her anxieties jeopardize everything.

Danica Dow chastises Brett for dating his friend’s ex. Brett Caprioni and James collaborate on music while talking about their experiences with alcoholism, and Scheana Shay gives Dayna an unpleasant gift.

Episode 17: Til Death Do Us Not Part

When Lisa Vanderpump throws a lavish party to commemorate the happy couple, Beau Clark astounds Stassi Schroeder with a unique but romantic engagement proposal. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright console Kristen Doute after being excluded from the festivities.

Finally, Katie receives the apology she has been waiting for from James Kennedy. At the same time, Danica Dow and the SUR staff compete against Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and the TomTom team in an epic softball game to determine restaurant superiority.

Episode 18: Mercury's in Gatorade

While Scheana Shay asks Brett to film a sexy video, Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark enjoy their post-engagement bliss. When Jax Taylor strikes out at Max Boyens, Brittany Cartwright is forced to retake responsibility while Raquel tries to convince Lisa to give James Kennedy one final chance.

Finally, Jax starts to lose control, and no one is safe from his fury when Kristen refuses to acknowledge that she recorded a sex tape with someone other than Carter.

Episode 19: A Tale of Two Pool Parties

Tom Sandoval competes with Jax Taylor’s pool party by organizing a rival event on the same day, making everyone choose a side. Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni almost fight over their affection for Dayna Kathan, while Brittany Cartwright accuses Katie of being the cause of the break in their friendship. James Kennedy finds a surprising ally.

Tom Schwartz and Sandoval must decide whether to increase their investment in Lisa. When Kristen Doute informs her that Stassi has been making fun of her home, Ariana explodes.

Episode 20: Unfriended

Lisa Vanderpump hosts a party to celebrate TomTom’s first anniversary in the eighth season finale. Still, tensions rise when Kristen Doute accuses Katie and Stassi Schroeder of abandoning her, and Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval argue over the future of their friendship. 

In the meantime, Danica Dow and Max Boyens engage in a violent argument, Brett Caprioni confronts Scheana Shay for stirring up trouble, and Dayna Kathan exposes Max’s womanizing tendencies. After years of hatred, Lala Kent finally sets up a one-on-one conversation between James Kennedy and Randall.

These previously unseen Season 8 scenes feature Scheana Shay and Stassi Schroeder bonding over their distaste for threesomes and Dayna Kathan and Charli Burnett fighting at SUR. Jax and Beau Clark converse about Stassi, relationships, and tattoos in the meantime.

Danica Dow restrains her ex after he advances on her at work, and Sandoval and Tom Schwartz come up with names for a potential “Bubba” sex film. Jax Taylor gives Brittany Cartwright an explanation as to why he should never be left alone with their future children.

The cast of “Vanderpump Rules” and Andy Cohen connects from homes during the tumultuous first hour of the reunion to discuss everything from Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval’s friendship-ending argument to the tremendous quarrel over Katie and Schwartz’s marriage. Nobody anticipated Max Boyens’ shocking admission of a covert encounter with yet another woman in the “Vanderpump Rules” universe.

Jax is charged with harassing the new SUR staff members by Charli Burnett and Scheana Shay. Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark question Sandoval about his rage over her book event.

At the same time, James Kennedy discusses the need to make amends to Randall after years of cruelly tormenting him, Stassi Schroeder outlines the reasoning for her awkward “bridezilla” behavior, and Scheana and Brett Caprioni argue over their iconic erotic music video.

The reunion comes to an exhilarating close—finally, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright attack Andy Cohen and anyone who criticizes Jax for his actions.
