The Chinese comedian started her performance by introducing herself, saying, “Hello, everyone. My name is He. Spelt H, E. Yes, it is my name, not my pronoun.” And she continued her quip about her name, from someone mistaking to pronounce her name to also mentioning her cousin.

The topic then turned to her Chinese ancestry, where He explained how single women beyond the age of 27 are called “leftover ladies.” However, she continued, “But I love leftovers,” which made the audience laugh.

With the best punchline, He replied, “I don’t see why people get married,” capping off her hilarious performance. The comedian also added that majority of her married pals are miserable.
