It is not every day that one hears about a woman getting pregnant at the age of 49. However, this is precisely the case for Sanela Diana Jenkins, a star on the reality television show “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Diana Jenkins is expecting her second child with her partner Asher Monroe at the age of 49. This exciting announcement comes after the couple suffered a miscarriage last year since they had been trying to conceive for some time.
The cast of “RHOBH” recently got together for a brief reunion at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Not only that, but they also took part in Celebrity Family Feud, which featured “friends of the housewives” Kathy Hilton, even though she has been in the news frequently since her drama in Aspen.
Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Dorit Kemsley, and Crystal Kung Minkoff are also in attendance, except for Garcelle Beauvais, who was unable to attend due to a job engagement.
However, Jenkins was not present at the event at the time, but a close friend verified to Page Six that Jenkins is “a few weeks pregnant” and that she is now on bed rest due to her “health history.”
“She and Asher are very excited about the new baby, but they’re being very cautious, obviously — because she’s only a few weeks pregnant and because of what she’s been through in her fertility journey,” the source added.
Given that Diana Jenkins had a miscarriage the previous year and that the reality star is now 49 years old, it goes without saying that she and her fiancé Asher Monroe are overjoyed about their new bundle of joy. This will be the Beverly Hills star’s fourth child overall.
2-year-old daughter Eliyanah is the joint child of Jenkins and Monroe. Jenkins disclosed their recent miscarriage on season 12 of RHOBH, which also served as her reality television debut.
On the other hand, she previously shared parenting of her children, son Innis Jenkins and daughter Eneya Jenkins, with British banker Roger Jenkins, with whom she was previously married from 1999 until 2011.
Following the announcement of her pregnancy, Diana Jenkins started to tease it on social media, particularly in the comments section of one of her holiday postings in response to a supporter who wished her well, writing, “Long way to go but thank you.”
Despite the excitement, there are also some challenges that come with being an older pregnant woman. Diana will have to be extra careful throughout her pregnancy to make sure that both she and her baby are healthy. This is something that her fans are also concerned about.
