The 11-second video shows a young woman struggling to support her presumably drunk boyfriend after what appears to be a night out during the New Year’s Eve festivities.
The man, who by this point was more like a giant ragdoll, slowly stopped and started to lean heavily against his girlfriend as they were walking down the unknown busy street.
Without skipping a beat, the woman picks up the man and carries him on her back as she continues to stumble or walk along the street, much to the amusement of bystanders who are laughing.
Over 3.9 million people have watched the 11-second video, which was shared to TikTok earlier this week to welcome the new year.
Thousands of people left comments on the video, many of whom expressed shock at how quickly she moved and how firmly she handled her drunk boyfriend.
One user stated, “If he doesn’t put a ring on her, I will. What a legend.”
Others weren’t pleased with her partner’s inebriated status.
